Immigration application

– Review the case and provide a detailed process flow to complete the immigration process employee (and any accompanying family members), and advise on any remedies as required

– Drafting the relevant application including detailed legal representations and case law

– Working with the client to ensure all relevant documents are submitted

– Prepare documentation as needed including arranging translations, notarizations, Apostilles and legalizations

– Work with local immigration experts to ensure swift and accurate preparation of applications and lodging of the application with the appropriate authority, including follow ups as necessary

– Regular communication with the client and employee to ensure all parties are kept updated and informed during the approval process

– Assist with the consular application, including applying on behalf of employee and family where permitted

– Complete all post arrival steps, including arranging accompaniment to authorities where appropriate and requested by client

– Notify the client and employee when the immigration documents are issued, including sending copies of the relevant documents

– Advising and advocacy at tribunals / court as required on immigration refusals

Immigration renewals and cancelations process

Immigration Renewals

– Ongoing reporting of key dates including expiry and renewals of visas

– Review the case and provide a detailed process flow to complete the immigration process for employee (and any accompanying family members), including lists of documentation required

– Provide regular follow up on all documentation from all stakeholders (employee, client or equivalent in home/host country)

– Prepare the documentation as needed, including provision of template letters and documents as appropriate

– Work with local immigration experts to ensure swift and accurate preparation of applications and lodgment of the application with the appropriate authority, including follow ups as necessary

– Communicate regularly with the client and employee to ensure all parties are kept updated and informed during the approval process

– Arrange accompaniment to local authorities where appropriate and requested by the client

– Notify the client and employee when renewal approval is granted, including sending copies of the relevant documents

– Track documents and notes through Sterling’s database

Immigration Cancellations

– Review the case and provide a detailed process flow to complete the immigration process for the employee (and any accompanying family members), including lists of documentation required

– Prepare the documentation as needed, including provision of template letters and documents as appropriate

– Work with local immigration experts to ensure swift and accurate processing by the appropriate authority, including follow ups as necessary

– Communicate regularly with the client and employee to ensure all parties are kept up dated and informed during the cancellation process

– Arranging accompaniment to local authorities where appropriate and requested by client

– Notify the client and employee when cancellation is confirmed, including sending copies of the relevant documents
